3.1.2 Packing. Five hundred sandbags (five bundles) shall be baled. The bale shall be wrapped and tied.
3.1.3 Palletization. Bales shall be palletized on a 4-way entry pallet in accordance with load type XV of MIL-STD-147. Each prepared load shall be bonded with primary bonding means C and D or film bonding means F or G.
3.1.4 Marking. Marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129.
3.2 Domestic.
3.2.1 Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking. Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling, and marking shall be in accordance with ASTM D 3951.
4. NOTES
4.1 Acquisition requirements. Acquisition documents must specify the following:
(a) Title, number, and date of this document.
(b) Type and color of sandbag required (see 1.2).
