B) Samplinq. Bowl liners and shipping containers shall be sampled in accordance with MIL-STD-105, as indicated below, for the cited examinations.
C) Examination of liners for Construction, Dimensions, and Workmanship. The lot size shall be expressed in liners. The sample unit shall be 1 bowl liner. The Inspection Level shall be
S-2; the AQL shall be 4.0 percent defective.
D) Examination of Packaging, Packing, Marking and Palletization.
The lot size shall be expressed in units of issue for Packaging, Packing, and Marking; and pallets for palletization. The sample unit shall be 1 fully prepared shipping container or pallet, as applicable. The Inspection Level shall be S-2, the AQL shall be
4.0 percent defective.
3. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:
The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials in
accordance with Public Law 94-580, as amended, to the maximum extent practicable.
4. PACKAGING, PACKING, AND MARKING:
A) Packaging/Packing. Two hundred (200) liners shall be packaged in a dispenser type box in accordance with normal commercial practice and packed to assure acceptance by common carrier and to provide product protection against loss or damage during multiple shipments, handling and storage. The shipping container shall be in compliance with the National Motor Freight Classification and the Uniform Freight Classification.
B) Marking. For civilian destinations - in accordance with
FED-STD-123. For military destinations - in accordance with
MIL-STD-129. Bar code marking shall be included for both civilian and military destinations.
