The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this
Commercial Item Description
This description covers cellophane bags intended for use in packaging applications.
Classification. Bags shall be of the following styles, sizes and grades, as specified (see Section 6):
Style 1- Flat bags
Style 2- Square (gusseted) bags
Size A- 127 x 89 mm (5 x 3-1/2 inches)
Size B- 152 x 102 mm (6 x 4 inches)
Size C- 203 x 152 mm (8 x 6 inches)
Size D- 254 x 89 x 57 mm (10 x 3-1/2 x 2-1/4 inches)
Size E- 298 x 127 x 70 mm (11-3/4 x 5 x 2-3/4 inches)
Size F- 330 x 152 x 89 mm (13 x 6 x 3-1/2 inches)
Grade 1- Low water vapor permeability
Grade 2- Intermediate water vapor permeability
