penetration during the Water Resistance Test. Unless otherwise specified, the front of the envelope shall be bright orange or bright pink in color. Class 1 envelopes shall have the legend printed on the front in black letters, centered to within + 1/2 inch. Each letter shall be not less than 1/2 inch high. The legends shall be clearly legible at the conclusion of the Water Resistance Test. The Heat-Sealed Seam Test shall not cause seam separation of more than 1/16 inch.

B. Dimensions. Dimensions of the envelopes shall be inside dimensions, exclusive of flaps or seals. The opening shall be along the shorter side. Dimensions shall be as specified, with a tolerance of + 1/8 inch.
C. Workmanship. Envelopes shall be uniformly constructed and free from pinholes, tears, cuts, sharp creases, or wrinkles. The legend shall be clearly legible and not smudged or otherwise marred.
2. QUALITY ASSURANCE:
A. Testing of components for the requirements of Table I.
Sampling shall be performed in accordance with MIL-STD-105. A lot shall consist of all plastic film manufactured by the same process
