casted and the test weight shall be 650 + 10 g. The 3 specimens shall be selected so that the seam opposite the open end of the envelope is tested once and the seam adjacent to the open end is tested twice.
D. Examination of packaging, packing, and marking. Sampling shall be performed in accordance with MIL-STD-105. A lot shall consist of all material presented for inspection at the same time. The lot size for packaging, packing, and marking shall be expressed in units of issue of envelopes. The sample unit shall be one fully prepared shipping container. The Inspection Level shall be S-2 and the AQL shall be 4.0 percent defective.
3. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials in accordance with Public Law 94—580 to the extent practicable.
4. PACKAGING, PACKING, AND MARKING: Packaging, packing, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
5. REFERENCED DOCUMENTS: The issues of the referenced documents in effect on the date of the solicitation for offers or request for proposals shall be used to determine conformance with the requirements of this Commercial Item Description.
