ASTM methods may be obtained from the American Society for Testing and Materials, 1916 Race Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
8. Notes. Purchasers shall specify the following in the contract or purchase order:
(a) Type & size required;
(b) Weight to be used in the Load Capacity Test;
(c) Packaging required;
(d) Color (when a special color is required);
(e) Style (when a special style is required);
(f) Test Load (when a test load other than canned food is required).
(g) When the Staircase Testing Technique is to be used to test Impact Resistance.
